Approximately after five years, the Bank Academy Institute changed its name to Academy of Finance and Banking Sciences (PTIKP), a subordinate of the Minister of Central Bank Affairs (UBS)/Governor of Bank Indonesia. The PTIKP soon changed its name again to Striving Bank Education Institute under the administration of UBS.

General Development Programme (GDP)
The UOB Indonesia GDP is designed to help you start and fast-track your career in banking industry as Relationship Manager or Emerging Credit Leader. This is where you will gain exposure to various business segments within the Bank and develop strong interpersonal, critical thinking and leadership skills. You will undergo this program for up to 20 months that will match business needs and your choice of role.
Criteria :
- A bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00
- Less than two years of work experience
- An excellent track record in leadership and co-curricular activities
- A drive for excellence
- Strong communication skills
Management Associate Programme (MAP)
The UOB MAP is designed to nurture our next generation of leaders across the region. Over a period of 18 months, you will undergo an accelerated induction experience to fast-track your career in the banking industry. This is where you will learn and appreciate different aspects of the business, within one of our business segments or corporate functions of your choice.
Criteria :
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognised university with minimum GPA of 3.30 out of 4.00
- Less than two years of work experience
- An impressive track record in leadership
- Fluency in English and preferably asecond language
